First grade field trip to the Maryland Zoo

First Grade kicked off their Quarter 2 exploration of animals with a trip to the Maryland Zoo! They are learning about what animals do in the winter by studying hibernation, migration, and adaptations. Each student is also researching an animal, creating a guessing game and making a painting to present to their families. The zoo trip was the perfect way to explore lots of animals up close!
