Middle School: Grades 5th-8th

Middle School at Silver Oaks is a continuation of the elementary experience with some meaningful changes. In addition to the in-school experience shown above, we help students begin to develop the habit of homework. To develop this habit we start very small and gradually build from there. Middle School is a new endeavor for Silver Oaks and we are growing gradually. We started in the 2023-2024 school with 6th grade, we will add 7th in 2024-2025 and end with 8th in 2025-2026. When we’ve reached our final grade we will have a dedicated literacy teacher, math teacher, science teacher, and social studies teacher. The classes will rotate through the subjects daily.

Mission

At Silver Oaks, our middle schoolers develop deep critical thinking skills to help them interact with the world in a meaningful way, analyzing the systems that construct our society, and collaborate to discover improvements. Our middle school teachers are experienced and dedicated educators who continue to adhere our Guiding Principles as our children continue to grow.
